WHO ARE WE?

Arm of Salvation was established in 1981 and is an indigenous Israeli Messianic ministry dedicated — as the Holy Spirit leads — to propagating the good news of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), teaching the Word of God from Israeli and Hebrew perspectives, and disseminating the truth about Israel, especially the truth concerning Israel and the Middle East "peace process." This we are committed to doing despite persecution and attempts at intimidation; together with threats of death and physical harm from Islamists.

Arm of Salvation is a non-denominational, international faith ministry. We are entirely dependent upon financial gifts from our supporters and proceeds from royalties and sales of our books and music CDs to sustain our work in and for Israel and the Jewish people. We encourage supporters of our ministry to help us fulfill our calling by giving financially and by purchasing our books and music. Our books and music are shown elsewhere on this site (click "Books” or “Music" on the Index) and can be purchased for personal benefit, as gifts for friends, family and church leaders, or for resale to members of your church or prayer groups.

Shekinah Books is the publishing arm of Arm of Salvation and Arm of Salvation's books have been distributed and read in well over 100 countries in the English, German, Norwegian, Danish, Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, Italian and French languages. Each book has been, or is still, on several countries' “Christian” best-seller lists and contain vital information and messages to both the saved and the lost.

Books by Ramon Bennett are not just to be found in the libraries of Christians around the globe, they are also found on book shelves in the offices of a number of the world's presidents, prime ministers, cabinet ministers, government members and government advisors, and at least one queen.Ramon's books impact the world.

Arm of Salvation publishes a printed newsletter in the English and German languages. The newsletter, the Arm of Salvation “Update” (click on "Newsletter" in the Index), contains the real news of events in or affecting Israel. The news media is the spokesman of the world. The one controlling your information controls your judgments. The news media effectively controls the entire world's perception of events by what it presents. Senior CNN correspondent Frank Sesno said in January 1999 on CNN Live, "We decide what the public wants to know…what they need to know." Others of Mr. Sesno's standing have said: "There's no such thing as truth, only news,” and "News is what you make it.”

The news media decides what you should know and only informs you of what it wants you to know. Some of the most prominent television news networks, together with some of the world's biggest and most 'respected' large circulation newspapers and magazines, will not only withhold important news from the public's eye, but will also distort or completely fabricate it to suit their own ends. And this happens most frequently when Israel becomes the focus of attention.

Through the “Update,” Arm of Salvation endeavors to counter the mainstream news media’somissions, distortions and fabrications by presenting the other side of the coin — the side the media and politicians would rather the public not know. The “Update” is a periodic publication (usually five or six issues per year) that is available via regular first class mailings or in PDF format via email for a minimum stated donation to cover the costs of production, printing and mailings.

RAMON BENNETT

Ramon Bennett was born in England just days before Adolf Hitler invaded Poland, igniting the Second World War. The Bennett family emigrated to New Zealand during Ramon’s first year as a teenager, and in New Zealand Ramon met a true believing man who showed him the reality of the risen Messiah.

Ramon struggled with the deep surrender required for a totally committed life until June 1965, and during August of 1967, while alone and in prayer, Ramon was powerfully anointed with the Holy Spirit. Shortly after that he began leading a team of evangelists in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, and also began accepting preaching invitations from local churches. Early in 1980 Ramon received a request for his help in Israel and in response to that call arrived in Israel in 1980, on May 14, the thirty-second anniversary of the founding of the modern state.

Ramon met his future wife, Zipporah, on his fourth day in Israel; they were married the following year. He felt the call to the Land and became a part of the then struggling Body of Messiah in Jerusalem where they still have their home today.

Ramon wears many hats. He is an ordained minister, a theologian, an International Bible Teacher majoring in biblical prophecy, a historian and a political analyst. Being a passport-holding citizen of three countries Ramon holds a uniquely international perspective on world events. He links biblical prophecy, current events and world revival together. His messages are illuminating and have riveted listeners all around the world.

Ramon Bennett is the author of several internationally best-selling books stemming from his expertise on biblical prophecy and the Middle East. His biggest selling book, Philistine: The Great Deception, released in 1995, is a dynamic exposé of the Middle East "peace process" and has been reprinted eighteen times and is available in six languages. Though some political names have changed, the facts and evidence provided in the book have not. Following its release in Norwegian, Philistine was for a full half year the subject of newspaper and magazine editorials, radio and television debates, together with several full and double-page newspaper spreads. Ramon recently completed All My Tears, an autobiographical testimony of his rather colorful life which some or his readers have longed for him to write for years.

Since beginning his international ministry in 1987, Ramon has lectured, taught, and preached in meetings, seminars, conferences and Bible colleges around the world. He has also been a frequent guest on television and radio around the globe and is no stranger to live or recorded telephone interviews for overseas radio programs. For nine successive years Ramon was a featured speaker at the ICEJ's Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, the largest Christian gatherings held in Israel. Ramon has since cut much of his overseas travel, preferring instead to spend more of his time in Jerusalem writing what the LORD places on his heart.

ZIPPORAH BENNETT

Raised in an Orthodox Jewish home in New York, Zipporah Bennett, as a young woman found that her spiritual needs were not being met in the synagogue. Deep within her burned the question, "Where is God?" This began a long quest which ended in a remarkable encounter with the Messiah in the Hawaiian Islands in 1970, that totally changed her life and brought her on yet another pilgrimage—to live in the Land of Israel!

Zipporah received a bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1962, and continued on for her MA. Upon her arrival in Israel, after mastering the language, she was offered a teaching position at the Hebrew University as a doctoral assistant. There she was asked to develop and teach four different courses. Her direction changed focus with her marriage to Ramon, and she was led into full time work for the Lord to serve the young emerging Body of Messiah.

Living in the Land and with a heart for indigenous worship, and a pioneer at heart, Zipporah set scripture to song using the original Hebrew texts of the Bible in a unique Hebraic style, which stems from her synagogue background. Her songs became extremely popular in the congregations, and she emerged as one of Israel's foremost composers of Hebrew Messianic worship. She has released four very popular albums and her songs are being sung and played not only throughout Israel, but in many other countries of the world—practically anywhere those with Jewish hearts worship the Holy One of Israel. Her songs are even played on secular radio stations throughout Eastern Europe.

Due to the many requests from overseas, Zipporah's latest release is a Hebrew-English album—also available in Hebrew-Spanish and Hebrew-German editions. Zipporah's songs were specifically composed for congregations.

Zipporah is currently involved in facilitating regular bi-lingual prayer, worship, and intercession from the Jerusalem Prayer Tower, in the heart of Jerusalem. She heads four teams and works to raise up younger believers.

Zipporah traveled extensively with her husband, Ramon. She is an anointed speaker, drawing insights from the original Hebrew texts of the Bible and is no stranger to ministering in ladies meetings around the world. Being asked so frequently to share about her life resulted in Zipporah authoring a book entitled, Return, Daughter of Zion!
